A police investigation has been launched after the words “CAR PARK” mysteriously appeared overnight on a road in Plymouth.
Detectives and scenes of crime officers have cordoned off the area while forensic investigation work is carried out.
Detective Chief Inspector Chalky Marks told Plymouth Plus:
"They gathered in force, all eyes on the ground.
The words ‘CAR PARK’ had just been found."

No arrests have been made and police say they are keeping an open mind as they continue their enquiries.
Police believe it could be the work of Banksy, with art crime specialists now being consulted.
