Police and firefighters responded to an incident at a block of flats in Plymouth this morning, 23 March.
Emergency services responded to Siding Road in the Mutley area of Plymouth.
Two fire appliances along with a fire officer's car, and a police car attended the incident.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service told Plymouth Plus:
"We were called to Siding Road at 8.54 as a smoke alarm was sounding in the communal hallway of flats. It was a false alarm, no fire detected."
