A bomb scare has prompted a major emergency response in the Stonehouse area of Plymouth tonight, 16 March.
Devon and Cornwall Police have cordoned off parts of the waterfront near the Royal William Yard following the discovery of a suspicious object.
The Royal Navy bomb disposal unit are dealing with the incident with the assistance of the Coastguard and police.
