Person left with serious injuries after horror crash in Plymouth

Emergency services rushed to North Prospect Road in Plymouth today following a serious road traffic collision involving two vehicles.

The incident occurred at around 1.05pm on Friday, 11 April. One person has sustained serious injuries, and local road closures are in place.

The Devon Air Ambulance was also sent to the scene and landed at nearby Central Park.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:

"Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on North Prospect Road, Plymouth, at around 1.05pm today, Friday 11 April.
"Emergency services are at the scene.
"One person is reported to have sustained serious injuries.
"Local road closures have been put in place.
"The incident is ongoing."
