Man rushed to hospital after assault in Devonport

Police and paramedics rushed to the Devonport area of Plymouth after a man was assaulted on Sunday, 16 March.

The incident occurred in a property on Park Avenue and a police car and ambulance was spotted at the scene on Sunday evening.

The man’s injuries aren’t thought to be serious.

 A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:

"Police were notified at around 7.40pm to an address on Park Avenue in Devonport following reports of an assault on a man.
Officers and Ambulance services attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital.
His injuries were not believed to be serious. No arrests have been made."
