A man in his 60s has tragically died following a serious two vehicle collision in Plymouth this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to North Prospect Road at around 1:05pm on Friday 11 April, after reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.
UPDATE:

Police, paramedics and the Devon Air Ambulance attended the scene but despite their best efforts, a male driver in his 60s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

North Prospect Road is a residential street with a 20mph speed limit. It is believed the man may have suffered a medical episode which resulted in the crash.
The road remains closed this afternoon while emergency services and collision investigators continue their work.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:
"Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on North Prospect Road in Plymouth, at around 1.05pm today, Friday 11 April.
"Police and ambulance were in attendance but, despite their best efforts, a male driver in his 60s was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
"The road is expected to open shortly, once the area is cleared and made safe."
