A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
It comes after armed police stopped a vehicle in the Stonehouse area of Plymouth.
A large police presence was spotted in the area on Sunday night, 22 March.
At least 3 police cars were involved in the traffic stop on Martin Street.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:
"Police stopped a vehicle on Martin Street on Sunday 22 March at around 11pm.
A 38-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
He has since been released under investigation."
