"Beautiful caring mother" Claire Chick aged 43 and from Plymouth will be remembered at a Candlelit vigil on Plymouth Hoe next Monday 3 February at 5.45 PM.
Smeaton's Tower is set to be turned green in memory of the kind hearted Plymouth University Lecturer who was sadly murdered on West Hoe Road in Plymouth last Wednesday 22 January.
Claire’s family have invited anyone who wishes to attend to pay their respects to Claire and encouraged them to bring a candle.

Bethany, Lydia and Family would like to invite you to join us on Monday 3rd February 2025 @5:45pm at the light house on the Hoe in plymouth, where we will be lighting smeatons tower green our mums favourite colour
This is a gathering for people who wish to pay their respects to our mother, Claire chick. Where we will have a minute of silence at 6pm, when smeatons tower lights.
You can bring a candle (battery powered- maybe) if you wish. We have 100 tealight ones but once gone- they're gone! If you can make it just turn up no need to let us know and likewise if you can't.
Wrap up warm and grab some water proofs as may be wet.
